Tank Solutions

Nexro specialises in the fabrication and maintenance of storage tanks for diesel, petrol and water. We design, install, maintain and repair tanks of a wide range of capacities, and we treat and coat existing tanks so they stay in service for longer.

Structure and fabrication

Tanks are fabricated for diesel, petrol and water storage to the approved design and specification — steel sheets, reinforcement bars, welds, seams and joints — to industry standards for durability and structural integrity.

Sandblasting and rust removal

High-pressure air and abrasive media strip rust, old paint and surface contaminants back to clean steel. This is what lets the coating adhere properly and is the single biggest factor in how long the tank lasts.

Protective coatings

Coatings designed for tank storage are applied to protect against corrosion, weathering and environmental exposure, and to protect the substance stored inside.

Tinkering and repair

Structural issues, leaks and damage are addressed in place, restoring the integrity of the tank so it can be returned to service.

Leak testing and calibration

Testing identifies leaks and inaccuracies in the tank system, and calibration confirms that the tank measurements you are reading are the volumes you actually hold.

Inspection and maintenance

Regular inspection, cleaning and upkeep keep a tank in service and keep the workmanship warranty valid. We also carry out cleaning and disinfection for water and fuel quality.

Warranty

We offer a one to two year warranty on the services we provide, covering defects in materials and workmanship. Specifically:

  • Defects in materials — the steel sheets, reinforcement bars, coatings and other components specified in the approved design.
  • Workmanship — defects arising from errors in process, welding, structural integrity or adherence to industry standards.
  • Leaks and structural integrity — leaks or failures in welds, seams or joints affecting the performance of the tank.
  • Coating performance — peeling, flaking or deterioration of protective coatings within the warranty period.

The warranty period begins on successful handover. Keeping it valid depends on following the recommended maintenance practices, including regular inspection and cleaning. It does not cover damage from improper use, neglect, accidents, external impacts, acts of nature, or modifications and repairs carried out by third parties. Specific terms are set out in the formal warranty agreement provided on acceptance of a proposal.

How we price the work

Pricing depends on the size and capacity of the tank, the materials used, the complexity of the fabrication, the surface treatment required and any additional services. We put that in writing as a detailed cost estimate, and we are happy to talk it through line by line.

Timelines

We agree clear milestones and a realistic timeline up front, give regular progress updates, and tell you promptly if something threatens the programme. We hold supplier relationships and a procurement process intended to keep materials available, and where weather or material availability causes a delay, you hear it from us early.
